Palomino is a small town that is located on the borders between Santa Marta and Guajira, belonging to the Guajira.

Palomino is a very new tourist destination but it has very good tourist infrastructure such as hotels and hostels that can offer you very good service.
The main activity is the Tubing cause of the connection between the Palomino’s River that descends from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to the sea, it is the first of the 5 things to do in Palomino.

You will find this activity in the whole town and it is offered by all the hostels where you arrive, you will see many travel agencies selling this Tour.
It consists of descending from the top of the Palomino River in a tire, a way down takes an hour and a half depending on the speed of the river.
The price of the Tour costs $ 20,000 pesos $ 7 dollars for which they will take you on a motorcycle until a ride where the bikes can reach, then you will continue climbing in an ecological walk for 30 minutes and you’ll throw yourself in the tire until you reach the sea, it is a wonderful adventure and spectacular views.
