Cabo de la Vela es uno de los paisajes más hermosos que verá en Colombia, ubicado en el Mar Caribe del sureste de América del Sur, esta es la única playa que también tiene desierto, y todavía esta habitada por nativos de Wayuú donde aún conservan su estilo de vida sin influencia urbana.

Aquí puede ver las famosas puestas de sol y disfrutar del mar y el desierto al mismo tiempo, así como practicar deportes como el sandboard, visitar el pilón del azúcar, la playa dorada y Ojo de Agua.

Day 1: Departure

Santa Marta - Riohacha - Uribia - Manaure - Cabo de la Vela.

Departure from your hotel  at 4:30 am to go Riohacha on a tour approx. 3 hours, then we will arrive to enjoy the Wayuu's gastronomy with a typical breakfast, after it we go to our way to Uribia, a very important hamlet of the region where the Wayuu's tribe lives, there will be a short tour of 20 min. To take photos and relax, then we head to Manaure where we will explain the salt process, then continuing with our journey until reach the exotic Cabo de la Vela where we will have lunch in a Wayuu house and then we will have the rest of the day to enjoy the place and surroundings.  During night we will have a typical Wayuu dinner and rest in Chinchorros ( Wayuu lodging).

Day 2

Cabo de la Vela - the Sugar Pylon - blowing hole - the lighthouse.

During the morning ww will have a typical breakfast, departure is a 9:00 am to visit: the sugar pylon, the blowing hole, the lighthouse, and see the sunset from the lighthouse. Then at night we are going to have a typical dinner and rest in Chinchorros( Wayuu lodging).

Day 3

Cabo de la Vela - Riohacha - Santa Marta.

Typical breakfast, then departure is at 9:00 approx. To Riohacha 3 hours approx. Where we will have a typical lunch from the region, then we will go take a City Tour by the boardwalk, visiting different important points of the place, we will have time for purchase some handicrafts one of the attractions of the place, then we return to Santa Marta 3 hours aprox. .

Note: During the Tour, you will have the opportunity to see the different customs and cultural expressions of this region, such as the Chirrinchi (handmade alcoholic beverage made by Wayuu ethnic groups).
