Dive in Mexico

It is an old port and small fishing village located 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen in the direction of Cancun but it is very quiet and cozy where is one of the best dives in Mexico.
The dive in this place consists of a great variety of fishes and colors, spectacular reefs that are worth knowing, there we will find a sunken ship that is the only one in that area:

The C-56 Minesweeper (minesweeper)

Sunken Boat C-56 Minesweeper.

Also known as Juan Escutia was one of the ships of the United States Navy with a size of 56 meters was operated on the Atlantic Ocean during the Second World War and in the year of 1996 it was donated to form a coral reef full of many marine life that at the same time relives this beautiful wreck, is at a depth of 28 meters therefore it is only for advanced divers.

5. Diving in Tulum

Dive in Mexico

Tulum is a small quiet beach town with beautiful sunrises, the entrance to the ecological reserve of sian caan where we can appreciate one of the greatest wonders and mysteries of this planet, the Cenotes.

Cenotes: They are water holes formed by some landslides opening the way to many circuits of caves and caverns connected each to others by kilometers, its name comes from the Mayan word “dzonot” or “ts’onot”, which means sacred well or abyss where they did their sacred rituals and buried their ancestors since for them it was the entrance to the underworld. At the moment remains of humans are found in these places.

Cause of the crystalline waters, the reflections of the sun and the sea water mixed with the fresh water offer us one of the most special dives of the Mexican Caribbean and the world.
Certified divers can practice cavern dives as deep as they have but no cave dives, special cave certification is needed.

Cenote Angelita.
Dive in Mexico

It was cataloged as the best dive in Mexico and the world by several occasions, it is an underground river under another river.
Diving here is like diving a dream, for a moment you will see yourself diving over a cloud due to the effect of cloudiness due to the gases that spring from the stones of more than 2000 years old and the combination of fresh and salt water called Haloclina. .
It is a difficult to describe this experience, you have to live it and it is the dive that I would recommend to any diver, one dive here combined with another dive is costs between $ 180 and $ 200 dollars.

Some other Cenote dives that I could recommend would be: Calavera, The Pit, Dos Ojos, Dream Gate, Great Cenote and more.

If you want to enjoy all these places, I recommend this Diving Package in Mexico where you have the best combination for all these dives.
