Cabo San Juan by boat. Price $ 85.000
This is the most easy option to get to Cabo San Juan but you have to keep in mind that if you are one of the people who get dizzy easily, it would be a hard trip for you since they are 50 minutes of movement depending the sea conditions.
The departure of all the boats that still to Tayrona Park leave from Taganga. Taganga is a small fishing village that is only 10 minutes from Taganga or 25 minutes from Rodadero.
If you are in Rodadero you have to take a bus that goes to the fifth avenue in Santa Marta and from there take another bus that takes you directly to Taganga that says: K-11 Taganga.
Once you arrive in Taganga, you go to the Tayrona Tour office on Calle 14 # 1b-34 to receive your boat ticket and there you board for an hour until you reach Cabo San Juan de Guía.
Boarding is at 10:00 am but leaves at 10:15 – 10:20 normally. When you get to Cabo San Juan you can visit the beaches of: Natural Pool, Arenilla Beach, Arrecifes, Brava Beach, Boca del Saco etc.
You have several options to stay the night in Tayrona Park and if you want to return by boat, these leave every day at 16:00 hours.
If you want to return to Taganga again by boat you have to be 15 minutes before in the same place where they arrived
The entrance to Tayrona Park is no included in the boat ticket, you need pay medical insurance when you are there which costs 5,000 pesos
